| Spring has sprung in full force at the Owens farm!!! Last Friday night, 2 baby goats were born, then Saturday morning 3 more popped out and another one had 2 babies this afternoon!!!! One is still pregnant, so we could end up with 10 baby "kids" running around!!! They are the cutest things EVER!! I've decided to give them all country singer names, so let me introduce you to . . . . . My favorite...REBA!! (note the reddish tint to her :)
The twins...Tanya and her brother Tucker
Johnny and June (Johnny is the black one of course)
Reba kept following me around :) Just some extras... Trying to get some milk from Nanny Gary...
They're the cutest things ever and I wish you could see the video because it is sooo hillarious. You can hear them trying to baaaaah for the first time and it's just coming out as little squeaks :) I'm going to visit the new babies this weekend, so stay tuned for more pics. Any name suggestions for the newbies?? (remember, I'm going w/ country singer names, ....and it can't be Dolly. That name is just too sacred to me!)
| Wow. My last update was in October. Let that be a testament to how my life is at this point in time:) Well, the break was the best I've ever had in my 22 years of existence. It was the first time that it was actually deserved and needed, and I also don't have a job which made it even more exhilerating. I was sick for about 2 1/2 weeks of it, but I didn't care. I wasn't reading 23 hours a day or having nightmares about the Socratic method. I got to see all my extended family and developed a pretty good 10 second combination of answers to "How is law school? Are you still with that same boy we've never met? If so, why aren't you married? When are you at least going to get engaged? Are you sure this boy isn't imaginary?" Apparently Gary had to suffer through the same altercations, so I felt better that it wasn't just a girl thing. (My littlest cousin Jaxon rockin out his Christmas mohawk)
Gary is doing his student teaching, so we didn't really get to spend as much time as we had hoped together, but we did manage to squeeze in some AMAZING indoor go-kart racing. These things go up to 45 miles per hour and it's all computer analyzed so that it keeps track of your individual lap times and pass points. Needless to say, Gary of course came in first, but I managed to slide into 4th out of about 14 other dudes, so he was pretty impressed with his woman's abilities. I told him he's just lucky I don't race sprint cars. (Me, Gary and Kim in our high-tech helmets. Yes, it's serious business)
And as always, Gary and I went to see the lights at Chickasha. It was our 3rd or 4th year to go and they never change, but I still insist on going. I used to always want to run under the lights covering the bridge at Wintersmith Park when I was young, but the parental units always said it was too cold and were afraid I'd get sick. Well, now that I'm a big girl, I make up for that and run under the much longer bridge at Chickasha and walk around a whole freakin park! (Which by the way, the day after I did this is when I got sick. Maybe they actually knew what they were talkin about on this one:) (The bridge...my favorite part)
Anyhoo, the new semester has begun and it's already in full force, so I probably won't be updating for another long while, but who knows. Hope all of you are doing good and have a great year!!

Friday night was the law school haloween party, and lemme tell ya...me and Gary Dale did it up right!!! He dressed up as "Ricky Bobby" in his driving suit and accessorized with an inflatable pink Speedy Sally race car made for a 5 year old girl. And I must say, the inflatable pink helmet brought it all together. I on the other hand went as the one and only Miss Dolly Parton. I'm not gonna lie....I looked pretty fabulous:) I don't know how many pictures I posed with people so they could take pictures groping me. We had a blast. Hope all y'alls haloweens go as good as ours!!
Check those puppies out!!!!!
| Wow, it has been forever since I've updated on this! So much has happened. School mainly, but I have had a few fun moments in between. For instance, we had a cookout at our apartment the other day for a few of the fellow law school gals. It was nice to relax for an hour or so before we all had to start homework. I actually made brisket and it turned out really well. Yes, Jenna did cook. I've also learned how to cook fried chicken, pork chops, and stuffed bell pepper (that one's thanks to Gary). Me and Gary celebrated our 3rd anniversary (yet another unbelievable accomplishment for Jenna) this past month......apart! He's been racing alot and I've had school stuff, but we managed to squeeze in a dinner at Bahama Breeze a few days later and got to spend osme time just hanging out like old times. We also went to the fair. He took me to see Jo Dee Messina, whom I love and also to get a turkey leg, which I love as well!! I ran my first (and last!!) 5K this past weekend for charity...Katie, you are a crazy woman! I've started working out 5 days a week and I must say that I love it. I'm beginning to get addicted to it. It's hard to imagine how out of shape I've gotten since all I've done since May is sit on my butt and read all day. But I enjoy getting out and walking to the gym. It's a nice "me" time. Here's some pics from some of the above-mentioned events!! Fried chicken w/ Michelle....our IL President
My brisket...notice it's already almost all gone!!
Jo Dee....sort of. Gary got us really great seats, but my camera wasn't cooperating w/ the zoom and flash.
Race Judicata.....
After Race Judicata!!
Steph's pics from her JUNE wedding finally came in last week! Wasn't she perty...and teenie tiny!
The master of the stuffed bell pepper. It's great to have a man who'll cook for you.

| Well Friends, It's been a crazy couple of weeks to say the least, but I'm enjoying it. School is incredibly difficult and very demanding, but I'm loving it as crazy as that sounds. The only part that really gets to me is all the time I have to put into it, which I don't mind doing, but it stinks because that doesn't leave much time left for the other things that are really important to me besides this. So, I sincerely apologize to all of you who I have been neglecting, please don't take it personally. I love you all so much, I'm just still working on the whole "balance" aspect of law school. Anyway, this weekend I busted my rear end and finished everything for school by Sunday afternoon, so I got to play all day today!!! It was absolutely amazing. Gary took me dove hunting and I had a blast (no pun intended!) My shoulder is already sore and I'm sure it will be pretty tender tomorrow, but it was definately worth it. Just sitting outside in the cool, cloudy weather listening to all the birds and outdoor sounds made me realize how much I miss being a country girl. Not that I'm still not at heart, but it's hard to actually get "outdoors" these days. I soaked up every minute of it and was sad to see it end. Hope all of you are doing well. Hopefully I'll talk to you sooner than later! Here's a few pics for those of you who aren't on facebook. IThis is Bogie. Isn't he the cutest little huntin dog you've ever seen?
One of the fields I was in
Our "bounty". I had a vest on earlier with pockets all over it. All these dead birds were shoved into it at one point because we didn't have a bucket!
Once again, all the boys....and me. Just the way I like it
